This course is designed to provide the students with a basic understanding about the IBM TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server (ESS). The students will get hands-on experience with the ESS Specialist and discuss performance features of the IBM TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server subsystem.

Through the use of hands-on lab projects, you will also learn how to configure the ESS and create logical volumes for the S/390 and zSeries environment.  Students will then be able to manage and administer the IBM TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server subsystem you have acquired.
