  As a recent addition to RIGCI’s personnel, Tony Ioannoni has known and worked with John Gorys over the last 20 years.  John was providing professional training for IBM in Montreal when they first met. At that time Tony was an IT specialist at a consulting firm also based in Montreal. Over the years they participated in common projects at different companies. Most recently Tony was the manager of Storage, SAN and Backups, at CGI, the largest Canadian IT company and third largest in North America.

 Tony needed a storage expert to provide his group with guidance and education. Managing one of the largest IT storage environments in North America was no small feat, but Tony wanted more. He wanted to optimize it, and run it both efficiently and effectively. He decided to engage the best in the business, and called John Gorys.

 When Tony left CGI, to pursue his career as Vice President of consulting services, at Multiforce Technologies, he still kept contact with John.  Tony decided to join John in RIGCI to help enterprises needing specialized services for storage, backups and globally ILM (Information Lifecycle Management).

 “ I know what it is to manage and backup a lot of information from a large infrastructure, but now I understand how to manage the right information, so my customers save money, time, headaches, and infrastructure costs, all that without drowning in data”

Tony’s professional credentials are very impressive with a solid history of achievement.  This includes deeply technical areas such as security design, migration and implementation.  He was instrumental in designing, preparing and deploying an advanced comprehensive operational automation system in several large mission-critical environments.  He has assisted many companies realize complex implementations with global impact including storage management.  His experience and background is a welcome addition to RIGCI Inc. and will enhance the offerings with both his technical and his business acumen.
