Archive Manager

The Archive Manager allows system operators and administrators to maintain both the ADDAM database as well as the file systems used by the server. This utility is designed to offer maximum flexibility for easy integration with existing data storage environments. Submission Manager

Your IT department has provided you with formatted and composed corporate data for your company's use. There may be several different fonts being used. Perhaps your reports are composed with forms, colour and logos. Your staff are comfortable with it. They know what they are looking at and how to interpret the data. Would it make any sense to have a team of web developers re-format and re-compose this data? Doesn't your web development team already have enough on their plates? Might this not upset the users and clients of the data, thus providing you with a whole new set if issues to overcome? And just how long might it take to fully implement such a system and/or strategy?

At the heart of the ADDAM server is one of the most efficient AFP management systems available. The ADDAM Submission Manager is the first stage and is designed to manage data input based on indices. This step also allows you to add ADDAM system indices that perhaps are required, but not available in the data. This index based design enables precise management of any system submission. The engine also allows the Submission Manager to make full use of all composition resources, negating the need to re-design your output forms. What all this means is that the ADDAM implementation cycle is relatively short compared to other similar systems and it means that users and clients of this data will continue to be presented with exactly what they are used to. It also means that we have not had to develop a data presentation development environment, allowing us to pass on the cost savings to you.

Presentation Manager

The server needs to know which clients require what information and in what format. The Presentation Manager utility handles this. The information the Presentation Manager passes to the server engine results in an extract from the ADDAM Archive of client specific data that has been transformed to the client's choice of formats and packaged according to the clients requirements. The Presentation Manager provides one additional benefit to your operations team: data extracts from the ADDAM server can be stored to any logically connected storage device. This functionality is ideal for any existing corporate storage management systems you may have implemented, thus eliminating any dependencies on a single system for recalling of dated critical information.

Distribution Manager

ADDAM distributes information to clients via several methods. Traditional print output is greatly enhanced by producing client specific print jobs. Printed output can be directed to any IPDS printer directly or via existing print services and can be sent to any logically connected PCL capable printer. By itself, the Distribution Manager's print functionality provides significant print shop cost savings. These savings are multiplied by the electronic distribution methods of the Distribution Manager. All information bound for Internet distribution, except HTML, which is available for online viewing only, may be compressed to minimize download times. E-mail destined information as an attachment ma be compressed and secured with a client password for secure e-mail transmission and 128-bit encryption. E-Mail distributions may be configured to send the client a notice only, with no attachment. As with all other client distributions, these options are under the full control of the client through the ADDAM WebApp interface. This utility also provides a seamless means of distributing to any existing Internet systems such as FTP or HTTP servers, and most fax servers.

Client Manager

The ADDAM Client Manager provides total control over ADDAM server clients and their appropriate groups. This manager provides the server administrators the ability to create and delete clients and groups. With ADDAM WebApp installed, clients of the system have control over their own profiles, allowing them to specify output formats, e-mail addresses, and general contact information
